About the author
Gary Yukl is a Professor of Management at the University of Albany, State University of New York. He received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, the American Psychological Society, the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and the Academy of Management. He is also the author of several books, which are widely used around the world and were translated into several languages. He is the recipient of the Walter Ulmer Applied Research Award from the Center for Creative Leadership, and the Eminent Leadership Scholar Award from the Academy of Management Network of Leadership Scholars. He has consulted with a wide variety of business and public-sector organizations and has designed a variety of leadership development programs for them.
