Bennett-Alexander is Professor of Employment Law and Legal Studies at the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. As her coauthor, she was co-founder and co-chair, of the Employment and Labor Law Section of the Academy of Legal Studies in Business and past president of the Southeastern Academy of Legal Studies in Business. Prior to teaching, Bennett-Alexander worked in Washington, DC, at the Federal Labor Relations Authority, the White House Domestic Council, and the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice Appellate Division. A winner of the Microsoft CreateGOOD award at Cannes Lions, named one of Ethisphere’s 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics, and one of the Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business, Hartman serves as an advisor to a number of startups and has consulted with multinational institutions.
