Online Learning FAQs What is online learning?
Online learning uses the internet to deliver course content and enable asynchronous communication. This format allows students to log in at their convenience from anywhere they have access to a computer and the internet.

Does the online program offer the same quality education as on-campus programs?
Our online programs use the same textbooks as traditional university programs and consist of similar courses. The distinction is in the format of delivery, which is entirely online.

Is online learning effective?
Research over the last 30+ years shows that there is no difference in academic success between students in distance learning programs and students in traditional programs.

What are the advantages of online learning?
The key advantages are schedule and location flexibility. Online learning is ideal for individuals who wish to continue working but have many time constraints that make attending an on-campus program difficult.

What type of student would benefit from an online program?
The online program is recommended for self-motivated, self-disciplined students who are both willing and able to commit the time needed to participate fully.

Admission Do online students have to be US citizens?
Both US citizens and international students may apply for our online programs. We have students from all around the globe who successfully complete our programs without any residency requirements.

Is residency or campus visit required?
No. Our programs are entirely online.

What are the application fees?
The application and registration fee is $50, waived for those who enroll during the pandemic. or a short period after it.

Are there any pre-requisites for admission to the online program?
No, there are no pre-requisites for online programs. However, students must demonstrate computer expertise in using an internet browser and email software

Do I need an email account for my online course?
Yes, you need an email account to communicate with your instructors. If you do not have one, you may request a free email account from Google.com, Yahoo.com, Live.com, Mail.com, or another provider.

Tuition Fees What is included in the cost of the program?
The program cost covers fees for tuition and registration only. Additional expenses that students will incur include purchasing textbooks, a computer, and internet access.

Why are your programs so inexpensive?
Since our online programs do not require a physical campus for students to attend, we are able to save money on operational costs and pass those savings on to our students. We believe that everyone has the right to affordable education.

Study How long will it take to complete the online program?
The online program takes approximately one month to complete.

How much study time is involved?
On average, students can expect to spend about 20 hours per week or three hours per day studying.

Can I work at my own pace?
For the most part, you will work through course content at a time and place is convenient for you.

Can I take courses in the summer?
Yes, you can take courses year-round, including the summer.

Can I go on vacation while taking an online program?
Yes, you can. The flexibility of online learning lets you pursue your education while still leading a busy, full life. As long as you have internet access, you can pursue an online program from anywhere, even on vacation.

Do the online courses require textbooks and where can I purchase them?
Most online courses require textbooks that can be purchased online from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or another bookstore, or downloaded.

How much computer expertise do I need to take an online class?
You should know how to use your computer, browser, save and retrieve files, and send/receive emails.

Exams How are the exam/test/assignments given?
Exams and assignments are completed online. The results are usually available one business day after you submit your exam answers.

What are the minimum system requirements I need for online exams?
To take online exams, you will need a stable internet connection and either a desktop computer or a laptop. Our system is compatible with both Apple and Windows operating systems and a variety of browsers. The specific system requirements are as follows: a laptop or computer with a screen size of at least 13 inches and a resolution of 1024 x 768. We also recommend using an external mouse for easier navigation and scrolling.

My internet connection at home is really poor. What other options do I have?
If your home internet connection is not reliable enough, you can consider taking the exam at your workplace if facilities are available. Alternatively, you may be able to take the exam at the home of a friend or family member with a stable internet connection.

How long will I get to familiarise myself with the system? Will it just be one session or will I be able to access it whenever I want to in the run-up to the exam?
You will have access to the tutorial and practice exam to familiarize yourself with the system before the exam. You can practice as many times as you need.

Will I be able to go back and edit answers?
Yes, you are allowed to navigate back and forth between questions and sections during the exam. This will allow you to review your answers and make changes if needed before submitting your exam.

What if I fail the online exam?
If you do not pass the exam, you will have three attempts to retake it at no additional cost.

What is an Open book exam?
An open book exam allows you to use any books, study manuals, or online resources during the exam. However, the exam will not be easier, and you will need to carefully consider which materials will help you and how to quickly find the information you need.

How do I practice on Exam?
You can practice for the exam using our online demo exam. There is no limit to how many times you can access the demo exam.

What format is used for exam questions?
The exam questions are in a multiple-choice format..

Where do I take an exam?
You can take the exam in a classroom, at home, or at your workplace.

Will I receive my exact score?
No, students only receive a pass or fail notice and do not receive a letter grade or percentage.

Can I skip questions and come back to them?
Yes, you can skip questions and go back to them later during the exam. However, once you submit the exam, you will not be able to go back and change your answers.
Note that you must answer all questions to complete the exam.
